Cancellation policy

How your subscription works
The Peacock Letters is a subscription of 24 letters, mailed every other week. You choose one of two plans at checkout:

  • Monthly: billed when you order and then once a month until you cancel. After the first journey, your plan continues with Veer and Maya's next adventure.
  • Prepaid: billed once when you order, covering all 24 letters of the first journey. Prepaid plans don't renew.

When you're charged
Your first payment is charged when you place your order, even if your first letter ships later. For example, orders placed before our October 30, 2026 launch are charged at checkout and ship on October 30.

How to cancel
You can cancel at any time in one of two ways:

To avoid your next Monthly charge, cancel before your next billing date. Removing or replacing your saved card doesn't cancel your subscription.

What happens when you cancel

  • Before your first letter ships: you'll receive a full refund.
  • Monthly plan: no further charges are made after you cancel. The current month's payment isn't refunded, except under our 30-day guarantee.
  • Prepaid plan: refundable in full under our 30-day guarantee. After that, Prepaid plans are non-refundable.

Gift subscriptions
Only the person who purchased a subscription can cancel it or request a refund. Monthly gift subscriptions continue to bill the purchaser after the first journey until they cancel
