Whose address do I enter at checkout?
The child's. Enter their name and mailing address as the shipping address, and every letter goes straight to them. Your email stays on the order for receipts and updates.
Will they see what I paid?
No. We never include prices, invoices, or receipts in the mail, so the gift stays a gift.
When will the first letter arrive?
Launch orders mail together in time for Diwali. After that, orders placed by Wednesday at 11:59 PM Eastern mail that Friday. We choose the day it leaves us, not the day the mail carrier brings it, so allow a few days in transit. Need it sooner? Tracked Express shipping for the first letter is $4.99.
I'm ordering last minute. Can I still give it today?
Yes. Place your order, then download the gift announcement and print or email it right away. The first letter follows on the next mailing Friday.
Which plan should I choose for a gift?
Prepaid is the simplest gift: one payment of $180 covers all 24 letters of the first journey and never renews. Monthly works too, but it keeps billing your card $20 a month after the first journey, continuing with Veer and Maya's next adventure until you cancel.
Can I gift more than one child?
Yes. If they live at the same address, one gift covers up to 4 kids. Just choose how many kids when you pick a plan. They'll share one letter, addressed to all of them, with a set of goodies for each child. For kids at different addresses, place a separate order for each address.
Is there something to physically wrap?
Add the Leather Letter Holder with a plan, and you'll have a real gift to wrap and a place for the letters to live. Otherwise, the printed announcement in an envelope does the job beautifully.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We ship to any US address, including PO boxes and military addresses, but we can't ship to US territories or other countries yet. Prepaid ships free; Monthly shipping is $0.99 a month.
